Place-based education with a borderlands focus is our specialty.
- Our Tucson location, just 70 miles from the Mexican border and contiguous with the Tohono O’odham Nation, offers direct access to study policy, clinical practice and social justice the Southwest borderlands.
- Field immersions prepare social workers for Advanced Direct Practice with a first-hand understanding of working with migrant individuals and families in communities along the Arizona-Sonora, Mexico border.
