Scholarships & Financial Support
The California Community College Achievement Plan — a partnership between ASU and California community colleges — supports students with the next step toward their bachelor's degree. As a transfer student, you can continue your education at ASU and may be eligible for a $450 per-credit special tuition rate, from enrollment to graduation.* This flexible transfer pathway is an opportunity to graduate faster and achieve your goals with personalized support ensuring your success along the way. *This is a special tuition rate based on the 2025-26 academic year. Some program tuition costs may be less. This does not include additional costs, like program fees or books.

Scholarships
ASU offers generous scholarships — incoming first-year California students are automatically considered for ASU's New American University Scholarship upon admission to the university with a value of up to $66,000 over four years. You may also be eligible for the Commitment Scholarship valued at up to $30,000 over four years. And if you enroll at ASU's West Valley or Polytechnic campus you may receive a separate award in addition to the New American University scholarship of up to $16,000 over four years. Admitted students can also browse ASU's Scholarship Universe to search through thousands of available scholarships. Because of our support with scholarships and financial aid, ASU has been named a top 10 best college in the U.S. for your tuition dollars among public universities by Washington Monthly.
