Safety at ASU

ASU works hard to keep a safe and secure campus 24 hours a day. Safety measures we’ve implemented include: 

  • ASU Alert and Advisory — Texts and emails instantly alert you to situations — both urgent and less serious — on or near campus.
  • Emergency Call Boxes Located throughout all four ASU campuses and parking structures, emergency call boxes connect directly to the police.
  • Safety escorts — You can request an escort to your destination and either an ASU Police officer, ASU Police aide or a specially trained student volunteer will accompany you.
  • LiveSafe App — Use this app to send ASU Police real-time anonymous tips, call 911 or have a friend virtually walk you home.
  • ASU Police — Located on each campus, the ASU Police Department is committed to the safety of ASU students, faculty and staff. The police department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
